favours

as we stumble further upon our witless way
laughing and disporting for the masses
others may observe we have no truths to say
and to those we smile and raise our glasses
mortals we may be, for all our many sins
captivated by the myriad flavours
but for us it ends the same as it begins
doing one another tiny favours

AH! I come to the party late! 😀 Love the rhyming pattern and the little catch at the end. *toasts to you with coffee mug* 😀 😀

    • Thank you, the pattern requires a little extra work but I think it looks and sounds good enough to justify it 😀
