what better way

if I should take a moment to
immerse myself in thoughts of you
indulge myself in lover’s rhyme
what better way to waste my time

if I should reach out lover’s arms
fold to me my lover’s charms
with every breath sing lover’s praise
what better way to spend my days

if I should hold my lover’s heart
and swear that we will never part
always love and never strife
what better way to live a life

*cawff cawff..wayves ah wae teh ant spray*

It’s a lovely and very clever poem indeed. I have always heard that the longest word in the English language was “if”. The Oxfrod English Dictionary though, says it’s Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.

My money is still on “if”. 😆 😆 😆

You’re killing me with Whittaker!! It’s like kryptonite to me! 😆 😆 😆

That’s why “if” is the longest word in the language..because it starts a very, very long sentence that changes the course of history. It is also, perhaps, the saddest. 😦

        • It’s also the bane of schoolchildren everywhere: “If a train leaves Timbuktoo going umpty-seven mph and the driver’s name is Arbuthnot, at what time is dinner served?”

AH!!! Your daylight savings starts tonight?? Do you go back or forward? We went forward which explains why I have yet to wake up at the right time! 😆 😆 😆 (and by “right time” I mean EARLY) 😀

                • The clocks go forward an hour officially at 1 or 2 am, so instead of going to bed at ridiculous o’clock in the morning, I’ll go to bed at (ridiculous + 1) o’clock 😆
