on, on, on

cheat on, cheat on, cheat on, cheat on and win the game
they tell me there’s no glory in conscience or in shame
and if you really want to monetize your name
the answer is to cheat, cheat, cheat

OR

play on, play on, play on, play on if you would win
a medal bought by cheating ain’t worth it’s weight in tin
and if you’d rather not be mired in guilt and sin
the answer is to play, play, play

in response to the Olympics..this makes a great deal of sense! Nice commentary on what a real champion is and what makes a true winner.

    • Considering how many hours I’ve spent watching the various events it would be surprising if it didn’t pop up somewhere in my poetry 😀
