so so song

i suff-suff-suff yes i suffer
from the pai-pai-pai from the pain
’cause you don-don-don done me rotten
then packed your bags and left me again

there were wor-wor-wor words were spoken
then the fis-fis-fis the fists flew
then you too-too-too took a powder
and left me all alone feeling blue

well i thou-thou-thou thought you loved me
’til you di-di-di did me wrong
i have no-no-no nothing left
but another chorus of my so so song

    • This one was written as a lyric to an unwritten C&W song, which gave me the rhythm and the subject matter and some of the word choices πŸ˜€

Very, very clever! I got that the last line..the “so so” song..was a comment, not on the repetition, but on the mundane aspect of the relationship which was neither great, nor awful..it was just “so so”..very clever!

    • The “so so song” I liked for its ambiguity, you have to decide what it is referring to. Hint: there are no definitive answers πŸ˜†

I view your poems like paintings..up close you can see colors and lines..further away you see depth and structure and even further away..you see the entire picture..so at every distance, I see something new.. πŸ˜€
